Centre de Art Reina Sofia is an art museum with a collection of Spanish art from the twentieth century. Here you will find beautiful paintings by Picasso. Stop in at the library where you will find over one hundred thousand books about art.

Head to Parque de Buen Retiro, one of the largest parks in Spain with ponds, rose gardens, statues, monuments and art galleries. The marble statues sit in landscaped gardens. A beautiful tranquil area away from the bustle of the city centre where you can enjoy a leisurely walk and soak up the picturesque scenery.

If you love art then be sure to stop in at the Prado Museum. The main Spanish national art museum with the finest European art collection in the world. This museum is home to 7,600 paintings, there are also 1,000 sculptures for you to see, 4,800 prints and 8,200 drawings including work by some of Spain’s finest artists including Francisco de Goya and Velazquez.
